Seed at Zero: news

The debut album from Seed-at-Zero is now available from iTunes. Seed-at-Zero is the alter-ego of Whitney Mower, a Utah-born musician and singer.

The six-track album features the original songs “This Thing” which narrates the astronaut’s plight, what you might call a parodic aria of ”Rocket Man.” “In a Steam” is a story of love in the apocalypse. “Deianeira” (one of Hercules’s many women) is a song Whitney wrote specifically for her mother, about the ways women are conditioned to spend their lives pining for men, keep their suffering and their minds hidden; Kathryn’s actual voice, found recorded on an old tape, is featured on ”Deianeira.”

The digital version on iTunes also features two bonus tracks: “How Your Mouth” (Original Demo) and “It Ain’t Me Babe” (Cover of Bob Dylan).

The album is also available for download on Amazon and other music sites. You can buy the physical CD from CDBaby here
